Timelapse
I’ve gotten into Timelapse photography somewhat recently and belong to the timescapes forum which is just full of useful information and has nothing but a talented and respectable group of people on there. Although what you see is video, it was shot with a regular Nikon DSLR camera using a special remote called a PClix. The technical name for this type of remote is an intervalometer because it is designed to take photos at set intervals.
Further down the line I hope to get into high-speed video as well, but there are very few acceptable options out there for the consumer market so I am left to sit on my hands and chomp at the bit. High-speed still photography is a much more viable option right now so I plan on pursuing that when the time is right.
